Professional Experience:

9/07 - Present Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter – KHAS-TV, Hastings, NE
• Anchored sports on weekends and filled in during the week
• Covered all sports at the University of Nebraska.
• Traveled to Nebraska football, basketball and baseball games to report on
   various stories
• Co-hosts a high school football and basketball show every Friday night during
   the winter and fall.
• Helped start a high school web show called News 5 Press Box, where we take
   a look at the week’s games and preview upcoming contests.
• Member of another web show called Sports Stream, it’s an interactive show that
   gets viewers involved and has them e-mail, Facebook or Twitter questions
   about a variety of sports topics.
• Reported live from different locations using our live truck and also used Skype to
   report from various events.

7/06- 9/07 Reporter/Photographer- WSET-TV, Lynchburg, VA
• Covered stories in both news and sports.
• Wrote short and edited all stories which I covered
• Traveled to Annapolis, and Washington D.C. on assignment.
• I was a member of Good Morning Virginia, our company’s morning show.
• I fronted stories that occurred in the bureau of Danville.
• I also reported for the show and put stories together.
• Traveled to Atlanta and covered Virginia Tech in the Chick-Fil-A bowl.
• Did various stories on Averett University sports teams.
• Traveled to Columbus, Ohio to cover the fans and teams for Virginia and Virginia
   Tech for the NCAA Tournament.

3/06-7/06 Photographer/ Reporter- WSET-TV, Lynchburg, VA
• Worked with various reporters on a number of important stories.
• Traveled to many big events and received great experience. Including covering
   democrat Jim Webb’s victory party on election night.
• Shot video for many stories and edited stories.

1/05-5/05 Production Intern, WBRE News-Wilkes Barre, PA
• Worked with commercial production manager for WYOU, where I received
   hands on experience with producing and editing various commercials.
• Worked the midday and nightly news for both the WBRE and WYOU newscast
• Worked with the cameras and in the audio booth during production

4/02-5/05 "The Voice of the Cougars"- College Misericordia, Dallas, PA
• Stadium announcer for College athletics
• Provide play-by-play talent for athletic events at College Misericordia
