Profile I am an award winning Chief Meteorologist with 13 years experience in local television news. I have won every time slot I’ve been in while helping my stations increase ratings during my tenure. I have earned the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association Experience Chief Meteorologist, KSLA, Shreveport, LA - 2007-Present I am responsible for creating and delivering the forecasts for the top rated 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts and online platforms, including ksla.com, Facebook and Twitter. I am also responsible for developing and maintaining the on-air look and feel of the weather department, creating graphics for all newscasts, and managing the work of KSLA’s Morning and Weekend Meteorologists. Meteorologist/Reporter, KLTV, Tyler, TX - 1999-2007 I started at KLTV as a one-man band, working my way up to Weekend Meteorologist and eventually Morning Meteorologist. In that role, I was responsible for creating and delivering the forecasts for the Daybreak and Midday newscasts and kltv.com. Photographer/Reporter, KXII, Sherman, TX - 1998 I was responsible for shooting, writing, voicing and editing news stories for newscasts on KXII.
